Brewing Hard Apple Cider Sorry Postponed Podcast

Brewing Hard Apple Cider Sorry Postponed Podcast

Sorry CreekRoad Nation.

I have yo postpone this week’s episode of The Creek Road Podcast.

Having water heater issues and frigid cold showers. Not A happy Podcast make.

I will be back on the next episode.

And we will discuss my week of cold shower therapeutics. And how dad an I fixed the problem.

I don’t like to work on electrical devices that can’t be unplugged. It’s a phobia. That I can ignore and do the work if I have to.  But I’m by no means and electrician. So I let others with the experience do that work.

This week’s adventure in brewing moved to the next step for the Dec 10th 2015 Hard Apple Cider. I moved it from the primary ferment bottle to a secondary. And tasted it.  Wow talk about Delight. Both my Son and Daughter in law liked it and are looking forward to the final product.

The Taste is very good. It’s was flat. I plan to carbonate the Hard Apple Cider in the bottles. It had a lite apple smell and smooth taste with a smack of alcohol. I’m guessing it’s stronger than wine coolers. I added a pinch of salt to my glass it brought out the taste of apples. Then I added just a pinch of sugar. That didn’t help it but didn’t hurt. But then at the idea of my son and daughter in law I added a shake of cinnamon. WOW!!! that made a drink of kings. And made me look for vinilla. But I didn’t have any. But I know what I’m going to do for the second batch I have brewing.

Well friends I will see you soon. If for some reason I don’t get a podcast posted before Christmas.
